Oceanlight supports The Ocean CleanUp. The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization that develops advanced technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic.

How does it work?

• You book a Lomi Lomi massage ritual or De-Armouring session at Oceanlight.

• From every invoice at Oceanlight, 5% of the invoice amount excluding VAT goes to The Ocean CleanUp 

• At the end of the year I add up these amounts of all invoices and Oceanlight donates the total to The Ocean CleanUp.

• You can enjoy your massage extra, because you indirectly help to keep the oceans, rivers on earth clean.

About The Ocean CleanUp

The Ocean Cleanup was founded in 2013 by Boyan Slat and now employs approximately 100 engineers and researchers. The foundation is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.  

 

Millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans every year, mainly via rivers. The plastic floating over the oceans will not go away on its own and has major consequences for all life in the ocean. Solving ocean plastic pollution requires a combination of containing the influx and cleaning up what has already accumulated. This is what The Ocean CleanUp does.
